Artist Statement & Bio
Fine and graphic arts were my focus in college before exploring other career directions. Over the years, I continued my art education and practice with classes and independent study. After working as a professional and having a family, I am now pursuing my art full-time. I am always inspired by the beauty in nature and enjoy the challenge that each new subject presents.
I am originally from North Florida but currently reside in Southern California. I have always owned pets and care deeply about animal welfare and nature conservation. So animals and landscapes were a natural choice for my paintings. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I foster homeless dogs and cats for rescue organizations and donate a percentage of each commission to animal rescue groups.
